National Crime Victims' Rights Week will be commemorated with tree planting ceremony

The Maryville Treatment Center Parole Office in conjunction with the Division of Adult Institutions and Staff will commemorate National Crime Victims' Rights Week with a tree planting ceremony on April 23rd at 10:00 a.m.

Crime Victims' Rights Week provides an opportunity for victims' advocates, criminal and juvenile justice officials, allied professionals, community volunteers, and citizens to join together.

In addition to the tree planting ceremony there will be a proclamation by the city of Maryvillle Mayor Ben Lipiec and guest speaker Paul McKim, who is a reverend at Laura Street Baptist Church.
